Automotive SPICE Trustworthy Observation

Your final practical exam for intacs certified Competent Assessor Automotive SPICE

Why this training?

An experienced Automotive SPICE Provisional Assessor observes that he is able to conduct an Automotive SPICE Assessment. With this practical examination, he completes his training as an Automotive SPICE Competent Assessor. A particularly experienced lead assessor is the auditor, i.e. he observes the activities and evaluates them on the basis of defined criteria.

We carry out the observations in accordance with intacs guidelines, methodology and evaluation criteria. In order to achieve a more detailed evaluation and a higher value of the observation, we also use more detailed evaluation criteria and have the observation monitored by an independent expert. After passing the examination, the candidate receives two reports — one for intacs and one from the external auditor.

More information about the training

1. Objective

This training provides practical Automotive SPICE® assessment experience. The participants are part of the assessment team as co-assessors and take an active role in the assessment.

You will gain valuable experience and the evidence required for training as an Automotive SPICE Competent Assessor (EE-Type AT - Assessment Team Member). This will perfectly prepare you for the role of lead assessor.

2. Content

After registration for the seminar, we will find the best opportunity with the participant to take part in an assessment. The time, language, location and customer (without conflict of interest) must be right. This may take a few weeks or a month.

As co-assessor, they take part in an assessment by Knüvener Mackert and support the lead assessor from planning to implementation and final report. They gained deep insight into the different roles of the assessment team and actively participate in the interview and subsequent consolidation. We provide helpful tips and explain the connections so that what you have learned can be applied immediately.

We apply the “NPLF” evaluation scheme in practice and go into detail about the dependencies between the assessments. Together, we evaluate a specific situation and take into account the observed particularities.

We offer the opportunity to independently interview a process so that the techniques for surveys and notes are applied in practice.

This training is exclusively practical.

3. Target group

This training is aimed at future or existing lead assessors. The seminar is exclusively for certified Automotive SPICE assessors with at least a provisional level. A subordinate NDA and the approval of the customer organization are further requirements.

4. Added value after training

As a future or existing lead assessor, you will gain valuable insights into carrying out an Automotive SPICE® assessment. They also get a deep insight into a different/foreign development environment. The insights gained can be helpful in your own environment later on.

As a future member of the Knüvener Mackert community, they can exchange ideas with other experienced assessors.
