More information about the training
1. Objective
This training provides a well-founded introduction to the world of Automotive SPICE®, the leading process evaluation model and standard for carrying out assessments in the automotive industry. Participants get a detailed insight understanding of Automotive SPICE®. The many practical exercises give you excellent insight into how assessors evaluate the implementation of practices or how process groups use the results to improve processes.
2. Content
We provide an overview of Automotive SPICE® and its significance in the automotive sector. We show what motivates companies and what they achieve when they introduce Automotive SPICE®. We work out the most important ideas and concepts and look at the practices of the most important processes (VDA Scope). We explain the connections and internal dependencies.
We present the measurement system, the process and capability levels as well as the “NPLF” evaluation scheme. In doing so, we go into detail about the dependencies between the reviews. Together, we practice evaluating certain situations and applying the special features and evaluation guidelines to be observed.
This introduction to Automotive SPICE® is mostly practical. We conduct many exercises and discussions to enable participants to apply the new knowledge to their own work environment.
3. Target group
This training is aimed at people who would like to have an insight into the world of Automotive SPICE®. No specific basic technical knowledge is required, so the compact course is also interesting for “non-developers” from the following areas: purchasing, sales, human resources, marketing, controlling, IT, law, etc.
4. Added value after training
After the Compact course, you can assign the benefits of Automotive SPICE® and understand the assessment scheme. The cost and benefit ratio is becoming clearer, as is the level of qualification for the topic. The basic principles of Automotive SPICE® can be easily adapted to other areas, so that in the end, every participant can integrate what they have learned into their daily routine.
